New York Mets infielder T.J. Rivera is starting at second base and batting sixth against the Atlanta Braves on Friday.
Rivera is stepping in as the Mets reshuffle their lineup after a two-game stint with a DH in American League parks. He's spelling Jose Reyes here, for all intents and purposes. This is Rivera's first start since May 20th.
The Mets are in a decent spot tonight, with the 10th-highest implied total (4.78) and Braves starter Julio Teheran hoisting the ninth-highest walk rate among starters tonight.
