Adrian Beltre still out of Rangers' Friday lineup
Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre (ankle) will avoid the disabled list for now.
However, Beltre is not in the starting lineup again on Friday as the Rangers open a series against the Washington Nationals. Jurickson Profar is starting at third base in his return from the disabled list on Friday and he is hitting sixth against Tanner Roark.
Hampered by injury, Beltre has appeared in only seven games this season. He has a .385/.452/.615 slash line with 1 home run and 6 RBI over 26 at bats.
