Joey Votto goes 4-for-4 with homer in Reds' win over Cardinals
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer Thursday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Votto delivered singles in his first three at-bats, before extending the Reds' lead to 5-0 with this two-run shot in the sixth inning, his 16th of the season. The first baseman pushed his average to .300 on the year and is in the top five of the NL in home runs (16) and RBI (48).
Votto owns a .421 wOBA and 1.018 OPS in 260 plate appearances this season.
