Nelson Cruz (calf) remains out of Mariners' lineup
Seattle Mariners outfielder/designated hitter Nelson Cruz (calf) is out of the lineup on Thursday.
Cruz left Tuesday's game early with tightness in his right calf and has not played since. While the team is not considering a DL stint yet, the bothersome calf injury doesn't appear to be going away anytime soon. Consider him day-to-day with the injury.
Cruz is batting .299/.383/.563 with 14 home runs and 46 RBI in 230 plate appearances.
