Mark Trumbo hitting third and playing first for Orioles
Baltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Mark Trumbo is batting third and playing at first on Thursday.
With Manny Machado sitting out on Thursday, Trumbo moves up from fifth to third in the batting order. He will also play over at first base as Chris Davis shifts from first to third to fill in for Machado. The Orioles won't have a DH as they visit the Washington Nationals.
Trumbo has gone cold the last week, batting .111 (2-for-18) with zero home runs and 1 RBI in his last 5 games (22 plate appearances).
