Steven Souza batting leadoff as the Rays host the White Sox
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Steven Souza is batting leadoff on Thursday versus the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
With the Rays facing southpaw Derek Holland, Souza returns to the top of the lineup on Thursday. It looks like he has become the team's leadoff hitter versus lefties. Usual leadoff man Corey Dickerson slides down to second while Kevin Kiermaier goes from second to sixth.
Souza is batting .246 with a .313 wOBA in 71 plate appearances against lefties this season.
