Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb has been moved down to seventh in the batting order for Thursday's game against the San Diego Padres.
Lamb has been batting cleanup in matchups with right-handed pitching, but he'll slide down to seventh in a matchup with Padres' southpaw Clayton Richard this afternoon.
Lamb has struggled against left-handed pitching this season, with a .240 wOBA and 41.9 percent strikeout rate over 62 plate appearances.
