Los Angeles Angels catcher Juan Graterol will get the start against the Detroit Tigers on Thursday.
Martin Maldonado is getting a breather this afternoon, so Juan Graterol will start behind the dish and bat out of the nine-hole.
Graterol has played in 14 games this season, slashing .258/.258/.290 with a .238 wOBA through 31 plate appearances.
