Rays put Brad Miller (groin) back on the disabled list

The Tampa Bay Rays placed second baseman Brad Miller on the 10-day disabled list with a right groin strain.

What It Means:

Coming off a 30 home run season in 2016, Miller has struggled at the plate and with injury this season. He had just been activated from the DL earlier this month and he will now be out again. Daniel Robertson should continue to see more time at second while Miller is on the shelf.

Miller has a .291 wOBA with 2 home runs, 14 RBI and 21 runs scored over 172 plate appearances this season.
