Indians place Danny Salazar (shoulder) on 10-day DL
The Cleveland Indians placed pitcher Danny Salazar on the 10-day disabled list with a sore right shoulder.
The Indians didn't announce a timetable for Salazar's return, but the right-handed pitcher was recently demoted to the bullpen after a rough start to the year, which could have been caused by a lingering shoulder injury. The team may choose to have Salazar rest, physically and mentally, for awhile before bringing him back up.
Salazar owns a 3-5 record with a 5.40 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and 77 strikeouts in 55 innings pitched this season.
