Blue Jays' Devon Travis (knee) lands on the disabled list
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis (knee) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list.
What It Means:
Travis is dealing with bone bruising and a cartilage injury in his right knee, and we'll have a better idea of how long he'll be sidelined after he undergoes some additional testing. Look for Darwin Barney and Ryan Goins to see increased playing time with Travis out.
Travis is slashing .259/.291/.438 with a .309 wOBA and 24 RBI through 50 games (197 plate appearances) in 2017.
