San Diego Padres outfielder/third baseman Corey Spangenberg is starting at third base on Tuesday.
What It Means:
Spangenberg gets the nod at third as the Padres sit lefty swinging Ryan Schimpf versus southpaw Robbie Ray and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Spangenberg will bat seventh on Tuesday.
Spangenberg has struggled himself against lefties, batting just .208/.200/.333 in 25 plate appearances this season.
