Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Alex Wood (shoulder) has said that he expects to be back in the Dodgers' rotation this weekend.
There were reports that Wood wasn't recovering well from his SC joint injury, but this is a good sign that he's back on the right track. We'll have a better idea of his healthy after he throws an extended bullpen session on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old left-hander has been excellent in 2017, posting a 1.69 ERA, 2.51 SIERA, 31.3 percent strikeout rate and 1.00 WHIP through 10 games (48 innings pitched).
