Nationals will place Jayson Werth (foot) on the disabled list
Washington Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth (foot) will be placed on the 10-day disabled list.`
Werth is only expected to need a few days off, and he will likely be activated as soon as he is eligible. Ryan Raburn will replace Werth on the Nats' roster while Werth is on the disabled list.
The 38-year-old Werth is slashing .262/.367/.446 with a .353 wOBA, 8 home runs and 18 RBI's through 47 games (196 plate appearances) in 2017.
