X-rays on Toronto's Devon Travis (wrist) are negative
The X-rays taken on Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis's left wrist came back negative.
Travis was hit on the wrist by a pitch in Sunday's game, forcing an early exit. With no breaks or fractures, the second baseman will avoid a DL stint but is still likely to miss a game or two this week with the injury. Expect Chirs Coghlan, Darwin Barney or Ryan Goins to pick up some at-bats if Travis misses any time.
Travis has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball since May 1, slashing .349/.355/.613 in 111 plate appearances before Sunday. He has five home runs, 24 RBI's, and 22 runs scored on the season.
