San Diego Padres third baseman Ryan Schimpf is in the lineup on Sunday.
What It Means:
Schimpf sat out Saturday's game versus the Colorado Rockies with Corey Spangenberg filling in at third. On Sunday, though, Schimpf is back at the hot corner and batting fourth against Jeff Hoffman.
Schimpf is hitting a dismal .165 in 190 plate appearances but has 14 home runs and 25 RBI's this season.
