C.J. Cron recalled from minors, batting fifth for Angels
Los Angeles Angels first baseman C.J. Cron was called up from Triple-A and is starting on Sunday.
Cron was demoted on May 21 to work on his swing. He was activated from the minors while Jefry Marte was sent down in a corresponding move. Cron is batting fifth and at first base on Sunday while Albert Pujols gets to rest.
Cron was hitting .232/.281/.305 with just one home run and eight RBI's in 90 plate appearances before his demotion.
