Miami open to moving Marcell Ozuna

The Miami Marlins will be "willing to listen" to trade offers for Christian Yelich, J.T. Realmuto and Marcell Ozuna, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.

What It Means:

Ozuna was reportedly shopped last winter, so Miami dangling him isn't a big surprise. However, the inclusion of Yelich and Realmuto -- two young players who would likely net the Marlins quite a haul -- is a bit more surprising. All three players would attract plenty of interest.

Ozuna is in the midst of his age-27 season, and he has a pair of 23-homer seasons under his belt. After posting a .330 wOBA with 23 taters last season, he's got a .398 wOBA with 14 jacks through 231 plate appearances in 2017. He's also sporting a 9.5% walk rate and 40.4% hard-hit rate, both of which are career-best numbers.
