Rockies will start Jeff Hoffman Sunday in San Diego
Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman will be called up to start against the San Diego Padres on Sunday.
What It Means:
With Tyler Anderson headed to the 10-day disabled list, Hoffman will be called up to start Sunday in San Diego. Hoffman was fantastic in a spot start against Philadelphia back in May, allowing just one run on three hits over seven innings while striking out seven batters. He could hold some intriguing DFS value on Sunday's slate.
Hoffman has 13.2 big league innings in 2017, with a 3.29 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over three appearances.
