Houston Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel improved to 9-0 after tossing six scoreless frames against the Texas Rangers on Friday.
What It Means:
It was another outstanding outing in what's been a superb start to the season for the former Cy Young winner. He surrendered three hits and walked two while fanning seven.
Keuchel owns a 2.94 SIERA, 24.4% strikeout rate and 6.4% walk rate through 75 2.3 frames. His SIERA is the fourth-best mark in the bigs and trails only Chris Sale in the American League.
