Allen Cordoba returns to the top of the Padres' lineup
San Diego Padres outfielder Allen Cordoba is back in the lineup Friday versus the Colorado Rockies.
What It Means:
Cordoba sat out Wednesday's win over the Chicago Cubs but has been a fixture at the top of the lineup ever since Manuel Margot went on the disabled list. Cory Spangenberg will return to the bench while Cordoba returns to the leadoff spot.
Cordoba is off to a solid start to his career as he is batting .292/.333/.417 in 102 plate appearances. He has three home runs, seven RBI's, and 10 runs scored.
