Colorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra is not in the starting lineup against the San Diego Padres on Friday night.
Parra is taking a seat against Padres left-hander Clayton Richard after going 4-for-4 with a double in Thursday's win over the Seattle Mariners.
On the season, Parra has turned in a .312/.331/.486 slash and .817 OPS with six home runs and 27 RBI's in 145 plate appearances (45 games) this season.
