Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson threw seven scoreless innings in Thursday's 2-1 win over the New York Mets.
Anderson stymied the Mets' hitters all day, allowing just three hits, walking one, and striking out seven. The 29-year-old has now gone 14 consecutive innings without allowing a run and will look to keep rolling on Tuesday as he faces the San Francisco Giants in his next start.
Anderson now has a 3.30 ERA with a 4-1 record and 59 strikeouts in 62 2/3 innings pitched this season.
