Carlos Rodon (biceps) continuing extended spring training for White Sox
Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon (biceps) will throw a simulated game in extended spring training on Thursday.
Rodon is scheduled to throw four innings. He has yet to make his 2017 debut due to left biceps tendinitis. Rehab has been somewhat slow going, but he could potentially return to the team at some point in mid-June. That would seem to be the most optimistic timetable at this juncture.
As of now, numberFire's models project Rodon to record a 4.79 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 18.4 strikeout percentage across 92 1/3 innings this season.
