Maikel Franco (illness) returning to the Phillies' lineup Wednesday
Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco (illness) is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's game against the Miami Marlins.
Franco sat out with a minor illness on Tuesday, but he's back in the lineup having missed only one game. He'll start at third base and bat sixth against Marlins' righty Dan Straily.
Franco's off to a poor start to 2017, slashing .209/.268/.349 with a .266 wOBA through 190 plate appearances.
