Astros place Joe Musgrove (shoulder) on the 10-day DL
The Houston Astros have placed starting pitcher Joe Musgrove (shoulder) on the 10-day disabled list.
What It Means:
Musgrove went seven innings in his last start but was feeling shoulder discomfort afterward. The Astros believe the injury is minor and hope Musgrove will miss just one start. David Paulino has been called up and will start in his place on Wednesday.
Musgrove is 4-4 with a 4.89 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 43 strikeouts in 53 1/3 innings pitched.
