Orlando Calixte batting leadoff for San Francisco on Tuesday
The San Francisco Giants recalled outfielder Orlando Calixte from Triple-A Sacramento and have him batting leadoff on Tuesday.
Calixte replaces Denard Span at the top of the batting order as he makes his debut for the Giants. He has just three career plate appearances, coming back in 2015 with the Kansas City Royals.
Calixte was batting .287 with eight home runs and 11 stolen bases in 161 plate appearances with Triple-A Sacramento this year.
