Blue Jays activate J.A. Happ (elbow) for Tuesday's start
The Toronto Blue Jays have activated pitcher J.A. Happ (elbow) from the 10-day disabled list.
Happ will return to the rotation with a start against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night, though he is expected to be on a limited pitch count as he works his way back from the elbow inflammation that has sidelined him for over a month.
The 34-year-old left-hander looked outstanding through his three starts before the injury, turning in a 2.55 SIERA, 29.0 percent strikeout rate while not allowing a single walk over 16 innings pitched.
