Royals' Danny Duff (oblique) lands on the 10-day disabled list
The Kansas City Royals have placed pitcher Danny Duffy (oblique) on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to May 29.
What It Means:
Duffy is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with the injury, and the Royals have called up Eric Skoglund from Triple-A Omaha to take his spot in the rotation.
Duffy owns a 3.54 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 18.8 strikeout percentage across 68 2/3 innings this season. He's gone 4-4 in 11 starts.
