Nationals' Bryce Harper ejected after charging mound
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper was ejected Monday after charging the mound and throwing punches at the San Francisco Giants' Hunter Strickland in a benches-clearing brawl.
Strickland drilled Harper in the hip, prompting the young slugger to charge the mound before throwing both his helmet and some crazy punches. Both players were ejected and will be facing suspensions.
Harper finished 0-for-4 with a strikeout in an eventual 3-0 victory for the Nationals. He's now slashing .331/.443/.663 in 203 plate appearances this season with 15 home runs and 41 RBI's.
