Minnesota Twins catcher Jason Castro is not in Monday's lineup against the Houston Astros.
Castro will get a much-deserved breather after he caught 15 innings in Sunday's marathon affair with the Tampa Bay Rays. Chris Gimenez is starting behind the plate and will bat eighth versus Twins right-hander Ervin Santana.
Through 133 plate appearances (33 games) this season, Castro is hitting .212 with a .685 OPS while recording three taters and 12 RBI's.
