Dodgers overcome a poor start from Clayton Kershaw to defeat the Cubs

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw scored a no-decision on Sunday, only lasting 4 1/3 innings as the Dodgers went on to defeat the Chicago Cubs 9-4.

What It Means:

Kershaw allowed 11 hits, including three home runs, while walking two, striking out six and conceding four earned runs, bringing him to 7-2 on the year.

2017 has been a bit of a rough year by Kershaw's lofty standards, with a 2.37 ERA, 3.02 SIERA (his worst since 2012), 26.5 percent strikeout rate, 3.4 percent walk rate and 0.95 WHIP through 11 games (76 innings pitched).
