Astros' Dallas Keuchel improves to 8-0 on Saturday
Houston Astros starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel allowed just one earned run, four hits and two walks while recording eight strikeouts across six innings in a win Saturday against the Baltimore Orioles.
Keuchel showed no ill effects from the neck injury which forced him to the 10-day disabled list. He made 86 pitches, throwing 55 for strikes, and continues to mow down opponents.
Keuchel is now 8-0 with a 1.81 ERA, and when at home -- a hitters' park -- he's 4-0 with a 1.04 ERA. Keuchel has sustained a 23.8 percent strikeout rate and 6.2 percent walk rate through 69 2/3 innings pitched in 2017.
