James Paxton set to start on Wednesday for Mariners
Seattle Mariners manager Scott Servais confirmed Saturday that starting pitcher James Paxton (forearm) will return from the disabled list to start against the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.
Paxton has missed a month with a strained forearm but he avoided any setbacks and hit his original target for a return. He will square off against Rockies' likely starter, Antonio Senzatela on Wednesday.
Our models project Paxton to post a 4.31 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 96 strikeouts over 108.5 innings remaining this season.
