Los Angeles Angels pitcher Bud Norris is considered day-to-day with soreness in his right knee.
What It Means:
The injury forced the veteran right-hander to leave Friday's game against the Miami Marlins. It doesn't sound like he'll require a trip to the disabled list, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him held out through the rest of the weekend as a precautionary measure.
In 23 1/3 innings pitched this year, Norris has 2.66 ERA (2.75 SIERA), 33.0 percent strikeout rate, and 9.6 percent walk rate.
