Orioles will have Alec Asher starting instead of Ubaldo Jimenez on Sunday
The Baltimore Orioles have pitcher Alec Asher starting on Sunday instead of Ubaldo Jimenez.
No word if this is a long term move or just a spot start for Asher. The 25-year-old has excelled out of the bullpen and in his one start this year while Jimenez has been downright awful. It may take some time to stretch Asher out if he is staying in the rotation so stay away on Sunday.
Asher has a 2.17 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in 29 innings while Jimenez owns a 7.17 ERA with a 1.71 WHIP in 42 2/3 innings.
