Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia was pulled from the game on Thursday in the sixth inning for an undisclosed reason.
Pedroia had gone 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored but was replaced by Josh Rutledge in the sixth inning. No word on if it was injury related or something else. Expect a clearer picture after the game.
Pedroia is slashing .288/.366/.374 with a .326 wOBA in 188 plate appearances this season.
