Cardinals drop Stephen Piscotty to sixth in the batting order
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty is batting sixth in Thursday's lineup versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Piscotty has batted fifth or higher in 25 of his 29 games played this season. He hasn't been sixth or lower since the first week of the season. However, with the hot bat, Tommy Pham is swinging plus Piscotty's struggles since returning from the DL, the move was warranted.
Piscotty has gone 3-for-15 in his last four games, while Pham is hitting .288 with a .899 OPS in 61 plate appearances this month.
