The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated pitcher Kenta Maeda (hamstring) from the 10-day DL and will have him start on Thursday.
Maeda has been out for two weeks with the hamstring strain, but after making a rehab appearance last week, he is ready to return to the bigs. He will start Thursday against Michael Wacha and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Maeda owns a 5.03 ERA through seven starts but only a 3.64 SIERA to go along with 40 punch outs in 39 1/3 innings of work this season.
