Astros starting Juan Centeno at catcher against Detroit
Houston Astros catcher Juan Centeno will make his second start of the season on Thursday night against the Detroit Tigers.
Centeno will be relieving Evan Gattis, who has started four of the last five games behind the plate for Houston. The 27-year-old catcher hit a solo homer and reached base three times in his major league debut on Tuesday against the Tigers. Gattis and Brian McCann (concussion) will go back to splitting catching duties once the latter returns from the disabled list this weekend.
numberFire's models project Centeno to score 7.4 fantasy points on Thursday night. He comes with a $2,500 price tag on FanDuel.
