Angels' Cam Bedrosian (groin) ready to face live hitters
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Cam Bedrosian (groin) is scheduled to begin facing live hitters within the next couple of days.
Bedrosian resumed throwing from the mound on Monday, and he looks to be on pace to begin a minor league rehab assignment next week if he keeps progressing smoothly.
Bedrosian was excellent to start the season, posting 1.51 SIERA, 37.5 percent strikeout rate and 0.90 WHIP while allowing no earned runs or walks over his six games (6 2/3 innings pitched).
