Jose Berrios picks up another win as Twins defeat Orioles
Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios allowed just three earned runs over 6 1/3 innings in a 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.
What It Means:
The three runs all came on solo shots as Berrios improved his record to 3-0. He gave up a total of four hits while striking out seven batters and walking only two. Next on the calendar is a matchup with a Houston Astros team that has been lighting it up lately.
Berrios has been pretty spectacular during his sophomore season in the bigs, twirling a 1.66 ERA, 0.55 WHIP and 27.9 strikeout percentage across 21 2/3 innings thus far.
