Nick Castellanos won't play the next two days for the Tigers
Detroit Tigers third baseman Nick Castellanos will not play Wednesday or Thursday as the team gives him a "mental break."
The slumping Castellanos is getting the days off by manager Brad Ausmus to "reset". The third baseman is 0-for-11 with six strikeouts in his last three games. Andrew Romine will fill in at third and bat seventh versus Charlie Morton and the Astros.
Castellanos is batting .220/.295/.382 with a .295 wOBA in 193 plate appearances this season.
