Rockies have Mark Reynolds on the bench again Wednesday
Colorado Rockies first baseman Mark Reynolds is out of the lineup again on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Wednesday will be the second day in a row the Rockies have started Ian Desmond at first over Reynolds while having Gerardo Parra play in left. No injury to report as it appears just to be a case of having three players for two positions and Reynolds happens to be the odd man out.
Over his last 12 games, Reynolds is without a home run and hitting just .273 with a .680 OPS in 54 plate appearances.
