Danny Valencia (wrist) back in the Mariners' lineup against Washington
Seattle Mariners infielder Danny Valencia (wrist) is returning to the starting lineup for Wednesdays' road clash with the Washington Nationals.
Valencia has been sidelined since Friday when he hurt himself on an awkward slide into third base, but tests on the wrist came back negative. He's back at first base and batting cleanup on Wednesday.
Valencia has hit .239/.312/.399 with a .309 wOBA through 154 plate appearances in 2017.
