Rangers' Adrian Beltre (calf) cleared for extended spring games

Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre (calf) has been cleared to play in extended spring training games in Arizona on Thursday.

What It Means:

He will be reevaluated on Sunday after playing in three games, and if that goes well he will likely move on to a full rehab assignment. A right calf strain has kept him on the shelf for all of the 2017 season so far.

numberFire's models project Beltre to hit .280 with 14 home runs, 53 RBI's and 48 runs scored in 407 plate appearances in 2017.
