X-rays negative for Athletics' Yonder Alonso (wrist)
Oakland Athletics first baseman Yonder Alonso's X-rays for his right wrist came back negative.
Alonso was hit by a pitch on Tuesday night and had to leave the contest, but he managed to avoid anything more than a bruise. If anything, the Athletics may give him a day or two off to deal with soreness.
Through 140 plate appearances this season, Alonso owns a .275 batting average, 1.020 OPS, 13 home runs, 30 RBI's and 19 runs scored.
