Tim Anderson back in the leadoff spot for Chicago
Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson is batting first Tuesday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Anderson has batted first or second in 27-of-36 games played this season but has been in the bottom half of the lineup in nine of the last 10 games. Leury Garcia or Yolmer Sanchez have led off most recently but Sanchez is on the bench while Garcia is batting sixth on Tuesday.
Anderson has hit .226/.268/.302 with one stolen base and seven runs scored in 56 plate appearances as the leadoff hitter this season.
