Dodgers activate Logan Forsythe from disabled list

Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Logan Forsythe was activated from the 10-day disabled list.

What It Means:

Forsythe will be the Dodgers' fill-in third baseman on Tuesday night against the St. Louis Cardinals as Justin Turner is sidelined with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Chris Taylor and Chase Utley will continue to split time at second base. Forsythe posted a .295/.407/.341 slash in 54 plate appearances before winding up on the disabled list with a toe fracture back on April 19.

numberFire's models project Forsythe for 9 home runs, 32 RBI's, 36 runs scored, and a .271 batting average in 296 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
