Tigers have Nick Castellanos batting second on Tuesday
The Detroit Tigers have third baseman Nick Castellanos batting second on Tuesday versus the Houston Astros.
Castellanos has spent the last four games in the sixth spot as Alex Avila was in the two-hole. With Avila taking a seat on Tuesday, manager Brad Ausmus has his third baseman back in the upper half of the lineup, where he has spent the majority of the season.
Castellanos has struggled in the two-spot, hitting .200 with a .625 OPS in 119 plate appearances. He is posting a.301 wOBA with four home runs in 189 plate appearances overall this season.
